Handmade bamboo Indian chik blinds were originally invented in Northern India to create shade from the light. John Robshaw added his Jaya Azure print in a cotton voile to one side of this blind which still lets the light in, but diffuses the light a bit more. Shades can be hung with the print on either side of curtain.

  • 42" W x 65" L
  • Bamboo backed with cotton voile
  • One inch cotton border and thread are both white
  • All chiks have a single pulley option
  • Please note that due to the handmade nature of the blinds, there could be a small variation in dimension and color, which we think adds to the charm.
  • Made in India
  • HOW TO INSTALL:
    • 1" loops are attached to the top of the blinds. They can be mounted either inside or outside the window frame.
    • For the inside position, we recommend hanging them with a hook 1" below the window frame for ease of use.
    • For the outside position, the hook or nail can go on the wall above the window, or you can install a hook in the window frame (which is how John hangs the blinds in his shop).
Wipe bamboo with dry cloth. Fabric is spot clean only.
